Korpen Football Week 47: Still work to do yet progress shown

The second week of our football tournament entertained a tangible progress when compared to the previous. Our team leaders finally brought the long awaited jerseys to us and we played dressing them. However,the score sheet has once again been unsatisfactory. We still could not be able to score one goal at the match. But we have showed a better defense compared to the first week's humiliation. In addition, we had few chances of scoring opportunity but we have failed to turn them into goals.

It is possible to imply that the improvement was obvious when one sees the motivation showed by my teammates. We have realized that few players are beginning to adapt the way the game should be played after seeing their outstanding performance. At the same time, we have well understood that the need for training is important. Therefor, we have already began searching for training centers which can accommodate us. There is an ongoing discussion with regard to selecting a suitable time that can work for all.

This Sunday, we will have the third match in our division. We expect to give our best even though it is going to be challenging. Some of the players in my team are not satisfied with the scheduling since the game takes place in the evening. But,this does not seem to be a matter of concern that will stop us from achieving our goal!

Korpen Football Week 46: Match Report

We had our first futsal match last Sunday. Being a new endeavor, it entertained a few talking points. My team is assigned in division 13 where new groups are commonly placed. For most of the players in our team it was the first time that we participated in indoor football tournament. And therefore we did not really know what to expect. 

The match was scheduled to kick off at 19:45 and we reached the compound approximately one hour before to discuss on important issues regarding team management, for example selecting goal keeper. One task however should have been completed before the game. Our jersey were supposed to be with us at the changing room but instead we dressed vests, which we were using while training. Then we replaced our jersey numbers using a scotch tape and sticked them into our vests. This was due to a delay caused by the company which were producing our shirts. 

When the match began we thought it may cause a problem; luckily however, there were not any. We have not had a proper game plan since we thought the game would be more or less similar to the one we exercise at the outdoor pitch. However, it was not the case. We learned that it is important to have tactics and that it requires quick movement with the ball and hence team work was vital. Even the size and the weight of the ball were strange for us. We were all over the place and the match result was unlike other. Our team conceived so many goals and raised the question for more training.

It became as a learning experience for us. We are hopeful that it won't happen again since we are not complacent with the outcome.If we are to learn from the mistakes we did from the previous match and close the loopholes, there is no reason that will stop us from getting a good result.
On Sunday we will have the second game in our division. We are looking forward to improving our performance!

Ett Ljus i Mörkret

I november börjar vädret att bli riktigt kallt. Samtidigt är det dags man känner sig kallt i sinnet. Därför, man letar efter sätt att samla extra kraft och energi. Efter sommarlovet börjar många människor att studera eller jobba. En del brukar göra båda. Så det betyder man har mycket att bekymra om. Prov i skolan och stress i arbetsmiljö presentera utmaningar man borde lösa under den här tiden. Om man har egen familj är det även mer problematik. Dessutom blir chansen att se ljus låg när dagsljuset kommer att bli kort. Den här situationen kan inleda stress för många.

Men det finns olika säker man kan göra för att förändra denna känsla. Det finns många aktiviteter man kan engagera sig för att hämta motivationen, så att man kan överleva den kalla perioden med glädje. Genom att engagera på olika sportaktiviteter lösa jag det här problemet. Till exempel, jag springer ungefär tre gånger per vecka. När jag springer for några stund i dagen känner jag frisk igen. Dock måste man kläda sig bra eftersom vädren inte är gynnsam. Dessutom är det viktigt att äta bra mat efter träningarna. Det är även mer nöjsamt om man tränar tillsammans med vänner.

Att spela innefotboll är andra aktivitet jag engagera mig med. Jag och mina vänner har skapat en fotbollgrupp som deltogs i Stockholms fotbollsturnering. Den stora organisationen som förberedda dessa tävling kallas som Korpen Stockholm. Varje söndag samlas vi på fotbollsplanen och spelar för några timmar. Denna händelse har fått två fördelar. Ena sida är det möjligt för mig att träffa mina vänner och diskutera om några ämnen, å andra sidan är ett sätt för att samla energin.

Dessa aktiviteter är en viktigt del av mitt liv. På det sättet känner jag kraften att överleva de kallt säsongerna. Det fungerar bra för mig eftersom aktiviteterna inte tar mycket tid. Om man planerar att engagera sig i sportaktiviteter borde man förberedda sig mentalt och fysiskt. Det ser ut som svårt jobb att träna för några personer men efter en stund blir det lättare!, Vad är ditt ljus?
